Delighted, hopeful, naive.
She’s been told she can “be anything she wants”
The glass ceiling was smashed
A sexual revolution liberated women
She can vote!
Nothing stands in her way.
She is, however right to be hopeful.
And to embrace her life with joy.
For she is powerful
And her vote is counted.
Change is coming.
There may yet be dark times
But She will endure
There may be resistance
But she is strong.
There is a quiet revolution
Gaining strength as more understand
